About The RHPNB
ABOUT US
Our
Mission
The RHPNB represents rental housing providers who are actively operating, adapting and investing in New Brunswick’s rental market.
We are led by a board of directors made up of people who understand the realities of rental housing firsthand because they live them every day. These are owners, operators, and professionals who care deeply about creating a fair, functional, and sustainable rental environment. They are not removed from the challenges of the industry nor are they passive observers. They are engaged, informed, and motivated to protect the long term health of rental housing in the province.
The association exists to give housing providers a collective voice. A voice that is grounded in experience, focused on outcomes and willing to engage when the industry is impacted by policy, regulation, or public perception. At its core, RHPNB is about advocacy, education, and representation, driven by people who believe that a fair market benefits everyone involved. When members come together, they are stronger, better informed and better positioned to operate responsibly and sustainably across New Brunswick.
OUR CORE VALUES
How we hold ourselves
Accountable
We rely on facts, lived experience, and real data to inform decisions. Not assumptions, ideology or optics.
If it's not a real issue, it doesn't drive action.
Grounded in reality
We believe a fair rental market requires balanced outcomes for housing providers, tenants, and communities.
We do not operate in a “us vs them” mindset.
Respect for the industry
We prioritize solutions that work in practice. Meaningful impact matters more than visibility or optics.
We don't believe in performative advocacy.
Outcome over optics
We believe rental housing works best when unnecessary friction is reduced and practical outcomes are prioritized.
If it's not a real issue, it doesn't drive action.
Function over friction
Representing member interests with integrity, ensuring our advocacy efforts reflects collective priorities.
We do not operate in a “us vs them” mindset.
Integrity in representation
We believe in staying informed, anticipating change and acting early. Being prepared is a responsibility, not a reaction to pressure or consequences.
